How To Reach
Reach Gateway of India (Colaba, South Mumbai) and take a ferry/boat to Elephanta Island (Gharapuri)—the ride is about 1 hour and boats typically start from around 9:00 AM, with services running till afternoon (return boats run till evening). After reaching the island jetty, walk to the caves or use the toy train, then climb the steps up to the main cave entrance.
