Explore the Old City as Evening Unfolds
There is a special pleasure in discovering a city on foot as the light begins to soften. GunjIndia’s Old City Heritage Sunset Tour invites you to spend two hours exploring Udaipur with a guide, connecting its streets, heritage hotel stops and ghats in one engaging walk.
Begin at Ghantaghar and continue to Shree Jagdish Mahal Heritage Hotel and Hotel Kotra Haveli. Your guide introduces the surroundings and helps you notice details that are easy to miss when passing through alone. At Ganesh Emporium (Vipulshahbags), enjoy an optional browsing pause before continuing towards Badi Pol.
The route then leads to Gangaur Ghat, Daiji Bridge and Ambrai Ghat, bringing waterside views into the experience. Pause where practical for photographs, ask questions and enjoy the changing atmosphere as evening approaches. Sunset visibility depends on weather, the season and local access.
End at the designated food stop, where you can ask about available dishes and decide what you would like to try. Food, drinks, tastings and interior access at private venues are included only when expressly stated in your confirmed booking.
